Subscriptions and Payments
If you choose to become a paid member, your payment is processed through Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe securely handles all card and payment details – we never see or store your full payment information.

Who We Share Data With, and How
We share limited personal data with a small number of trusted third parties, only for the purposes described in this policy. The information shared and the way it is shared are as follows:
- Stripe – When you subscribe, your card details and billing information are entered into a Stripe-hosted payment form on our site. This information is transmitted directly from your browser to Stripe’s servers; it does not pass through or get stored by PremPlace. We receive only the transaction status (e.g. successful payment, cancellation) via Stripe’s webhook, along with your email address and subscription status, which we use to give you access to your account.
- Google Analytics – Anonymised usage data and an anonymised IP address are sent from your browser to Google’s servers via a JavaScript tracking snippet included on our pages. We see only aggregated reports, not individual user data.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with any advertising platforms.
How We Keep Your Data Secure
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal data we hold:
- The entire PremPlace.com site is served over HTTPS, so data sent between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit.
- Card and payment details are handled entirely by Stripe. PremPlace never sees or stores your full card details.
- Access to subscriber accounts and the WordPress admin area is restricted, password-protected, and limited to the site operator.
- We keep WordPress, our plugins, and our hosting environment up to date with security patches.
- We collect only the personal data we genuinely need to run the service, which limits the impact of any potential incident.
No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but these measures reflect a reasonable standard of care for the type of data we handle.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent – when you opt into cookies or leave a comment
- Legitimate Interest – to analyse site performance and usage
- Contract – when you take out a subscription with us (processed through Stripe)
Your Rights Under GDPR

How Long We Keep Data
- Analytics data is stored by Google for up to 26 months (anonymised).
- Comments remain on the site unless deleted by request.
- Account and subscription-status data (such as your email and membership status) is held by PremPlace for as long as your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Card and payment details are stored securely by Stripe according to their terms – we never store them ourselves.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any significant changes, we’ll let you know by posting a notice on the site.
